GolfCandy
The golf bet tracker that talks trash back.
Track the bets, hand out the candy, settle to the penny. Then it roasts the loser by name.
9 ways to bet · a recap that talks · zero napkin math
The 18th green has a math problem
You played five games at once, pressed twice, and gave strokes nobody wrote down. Now four grown men are doing long division on a glove.
The math nobody does
Somebody is always off by a stroke, and it is always in their favor.
The press nobody remembers
"We doubled on the back, right?" Sure. Says the guy who is down.
The friend who never pays
He will get you next time. He has gotten you next time for two years.
Everything it does
Pick the games, enter the scores, and GolfCandy handles the rest, including the part where it tells everyone how it went.
Real net scoring
Handicaps, stroke allocation, play-off-low-man, plus handicaps, back-nine adjust. The math you argue about, done right.
Live money, to the penny
Every hole updates who's up and who's writing a check. Always sums to zero.
Money-swing timeline
A live chart of every balance climbing and cratering across 18 holes.
One-tap Venmo settle
The fewest payments that make everyone whole, opened in Venmo with the note filled in. It's not a nice note.
A scorecard worth sharing
A framed card, birdies circled, candy tallied, sent to the group as an image.
It talks all round
A one-liner on the holes that earn it, a halftime dispatch, lone-wolf banners.
Scan the scorecard
Point your camera at the card and it reads the pars and handicap indexes.
Nearly 30,000 courses
Search by name or pull up the ones near you, tees and stroke indexes loaded.
Your roster
Save the regulars with handicaps and Venmo so a new round fills itself in.
The gallery watches. From any phone. No app.
One person keeps score. Everyone else opens a free live link in their browser and follows the whole thing: running money, golf scores, who drew the wolf, and a money-swing chart that tracks every climb and collapse. When it ends, each player taps their own Venmo button and pays up, then the scorecard and the voiced recap go straight to the group chat. No accounts, no downloads, no excuses.
No app. No account. Just the link.
An announcer who roots against everyone
It talks all round. A dry one-liner on the holes that earn one, a halftime dispatch at the turn, and a full clubhouse recap at the end that salutes the winner with grudging respect and roasts the loser with backhanded sympathy. It knows you went lone wolf four times.
“Chip three-putts from four feet. The green would like to press charges.”
“Halftime: Marty is up twenty and Chip is out of new excuses. The back nine owes us an answer.”
This is your GolfCandy clubhouse report. We begin with a moment of silence for Chip's thirty-four dollars, last seen on the fourth tee, full of hope. For eleven holes, this was Reggie's round. He was up, he was loose, he was telling stories on the tee box. Then he pressed on twelve, because a man who is winning can always find a way to fix that. He pressed again on fourteen. By sixteen he was down, quiet, and explaining the concept of variance to people who did not ask. Reggie finished eight dollars in the hole and a little humbled, which is the most expensive kind of humble. Sully wins. He said maybe nine words all afternoon, seven of them "nice shot," and he leaves with thirty dollars and everyone's grudging respect. The quietest man at the table, the loudest wallet in the parking lot. Marty played a different course than the rest of you, one made entirely of bunkers and one water hazard he insisted was "not in play." It was in play. It is always in play. He also, somehow, finished up twelve dollars, which nobody can explain and Marty refuses to. Golf does not care about your game plan. This one just takes the money and asks if you are free next Saturday. In the end: Sully wins, Chip pays, the natural order holds. Sully plus thirty, Marty plus twelve, Reggie minus eight, Chip minus thirty-four. Venmo is open. So is the wound.
Written fresh for every round. Names, numbers, and lone-wolf disasters all real.
See it in your pocket
The scorecard you share, the chart of the collapse, and the round living on your lock screen. All real, all from the app.
A scorecard the group actually wants
Every round becomes a framed card: pars, nets, birdies circled, bogeys boxed, and the candy tallied at the bottom. One tap sends it to the group chat as an image, not a link.
Watch the exact hole a wallet gave up
A live line for every player, climbing and cratering across all 18. You can point at the precise hole it went sideways, and replay it for years.
The money on your lock screen
A Live Activity keeps the standings and the current hole right on your lock screen and the Dynamic Island. Glance down between shots, no unlocking.
Bring your own game
Run them solo or stack five at once. GolfCandy keeps every bet straight and the money honest.
Front, back, and total. Three ways to lose to the same guy.
One match, eighteen holes. Lose it on 16 and walk the last two in silence.
Win the hole outright, or watch the pot carry to someone who will.
Pick a partner, or go lone wolf and learn who your friends aren't.
Partners rotate every six holes. The betrayal is scheduled.
Points for the good holes. Mercy for the blow-ups. Barely.
Pair up, smash your scores into one number, and pray nobody birdies.
First on, closest, first in. Three ways to nickel-and-dime a buddy.
Greenies, sandies, barkies. The side bets that fund the cigars.
Run five games at once. Nassau, skins, and junk on the same round, all kept honest.
Wait, why "candy"?
Candy is strokes given. The little sugar your buddy needs to keep the game close, allocated by handicap and hole difficulty so the bet is actually fair. GolfCandy hands it out automatically, tracks who got how much, and never forgets a pop. Unlike your group.
